5th World Summit on Arts and Culture, Melbourne, Australia, 3-6 October 2011: Final call for speakers
IFACCA and the Australia Council for the Arts are seeking suggestions of keynote speakers, panelists or presenters of case studies who can successfully address the Summit’s theme, Creative Intersections.
The Summit will investigate how the arts can give voice to different communities and concerns through collaborations with other sectors such as business and the economy, new technologies, health and well-being, the environment, education and identity through Indigenous, local and global cultures.
The Summit’s Program Advisor, Robyn Archer, will work with organisers to develop the conference program and secure speakers who will share their experience and knowledge with colleagues from around the world. Proposals need to be submitted to us via the online form by Friday, 10 September 2010: http://www.artsummit.org/programme/callforspeakers/
The 5th World Summit is co-hosted by IFACCA and the Australia Council for the Arts, in association with Arts Victoria.

Report and DVD on 4th World Summit now available
The report from the 4th World Summit on Arts and Culture has recently been despatched to members and Summit delegates around the world, together with a DVD showing highlights of the event.
The 4th World Summit on Arts and Culture was hosted by the National Arts Council of South Africa, and held in Johannesburg on 22-25 September 2009. Involving 447 delegates from 76 countries, the 4th World Summit engaged with a range of significant issues and topics around the theme of Meeting of Cultures: Creating Meaning through the Arts, including cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue.
