Survey on intercultural dialogue: seeking your help

As a key part of the preparations for the 4th World Summit on Arts and Culture, IFACCA, needs your response to our survey on ‘Achieving intercultural dialogue through the arts and culture?’.

IFACCA wishes to open up a discussion about the claim that intercultural dialogue has become a new priority for arts and cultural policy makers around the world. Several questions arise: what does intercultural dialogue mean? Is it really a priority in your country? What kinds of policies or programmes can arts and cultural policy actors develop to promote intercultural dialogue? What are the main challenges of national arts funding agencies in addressing intercultural dialogue from a policy or programme point of view? What questions do you have?

We would be grateful if you would complete this survey, as the responses will form the basis of a discussion paper to be distributed to all Summit participants to reflect on before travelling to Johannesburg. The responses will also be an important way for us to identify case studies that could be presented within the Summit programme.
