ConnectCP now receiving over 140,000 searches per month!

ConnectCP – The International Who’s Who of Cultural Policy, Planning and Research, is now  receiving 140,000 searches per month – double the figure from last year!

The databasee, which contains profiles of selected experts from around the globe, now holds over 620 profiles of experts representing 92 countries.

The advanced search page allows experts to be searched using a range of criteria, including by country.

ConnectCP is also now available in French and Spanish and special efforts are being made to encourage more experts from Latin America and Africa to join.

ConnectCP aims to stimulate the interaction of people with knowledge in the cultural policy sector, mobilise human resources and facilitate the flow of cultural policy information.

To be considered an ‘expert’ for ConnectCP, a person needs to be recognised in the field of arts and cultural policy as someone who holds a senior research, policy, teaching or management position and/or has demonstrated expertise, at national and international level, in research, analysis or commentary. Experts need to be prepared to provide and update information about themselves and their work for ConnectCP, and may be asked to provide referees.

IFACCA was the joint-founder of ConnectCP and is now its managing partner.
