Who’s Who in arts funding leadership
If you are looking for information on the chief executive officer (CEO) of a national arts agency, check the IFACCA Directory. For those CEOs who are listed in ConnectCP, the Directory provides a link to their profile, which describes their current role and key interests and provides their biography and a photograph.
Here are some examples:
- Poul Bache, Director General of the Danish Arts Agency
- Kathy Keele, CEO of the Australia Council for the Arts
- Pius Knüsel, Director of Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council
- Lee Suan Hiang, CEO of the Singapore National Arts Council
- Desmond Maphanga, CEO of the Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture
- Hannu Saha, Chairman (CEO) of the Arts Council of Finland
- Robert Sirman, Director of the Canada Council for the Arts.
If you are the CEO of a national arts council or the director of the arts department of a ministry of culture – then we will have you listed on the IFACCA directory. However, if you are not yet listed in ConnectCP too, then we invite you to add your profile. All you need to do is visit www.connectcp.org and use the ‘submit’ function. Alternatively, contact the ConnectCP coordinator, Diane Dodd (info@connectcp.org) or IFACCA(info@ifacca.org) to find out more.
The IFACCA Directory is the most comprehensive international listing of arts councils and ministries of culture. Look for the map on the right-hand-side of the IFACCA website www.ifacca.org and simply select a country from the drop-down menu.
ConnectCP, an initiative of IFACCA, is an online database of cultural policy experts from around the world. ConnectCP consists of profiles that outline experts’ experience, current interests, and other information relevant to their work in cultural policy. The international database currently contains 568 published profiles of experts from 83 countries.
