Memberships 2008 - be part of IFACCA
It's time to renew IFACCA memberships.
IFACCA now has 58 national members. Annual contributions from these members, and from our affiliate members, ensure that we can continue to operate the IFACCA secretariat and provide services such as ACORNS, the website, our research reports and projects like ConnectCP. Members also receive a number of special benefits, including discounts for registration the World Summit in South Africa in 2009.
Thanks to a steady growth in membership, the Federation has been able to keep its national member fees at around the same level since 2001. For some members, this year's fees will differ slightly from previous years, as we have updated national members' contributions to account for the new United Nations (UN) Scale of Assessments. The Scale ensures that our fees are as equitable as possible, so it is important that the Federation adopt updated Scales as they become available. The change is explained in a letter despatched to national members this week, which also contains a printed copy of 2008 membership invoices. We welcome your prompt payment. Invoices for affiliate members will be distributed soon.
We will be announcing a number of new members early in the new year, but we always welcome more! For information on joining IFACCA, visit the membership section of our website, or contact us at info@ifacca.org.
