African experts on ConnectCP

Thanks to a collaboration between IFACCA and the Observatory of Cultural Policies in Africa (OCPA), ConnectCP now contains profiles for 20 African arts and culture policy experts.
Three months ago OCPA distributed an invitation to select African cultural policy experts to submit their profile to ConnectCP. As a result, the database now includes 20 African experts from 12 countries - Cameroon, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Swaziland, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Go to the ConnectCP website (www.connectcp.org) to view these experts’ experience, current interests, and other information relevant to their work in cultural policy. OCPA plans to continue to promote African participation in ConnectCP. If you are an expert in arts and cultural policy in Africa, you can submit your profile at www.connectcp.org/profiles/submit.php?lang=en, where you can also view the eligibility criteria.
ConnectCP is a database of cultural policy experts, an international ‘Who’s Who’ of cultural policy researchers, planners and policymakers. The ConnectCP website is available in English and French. For enquiries, contact ConnectCP coordinator Diane Dodd at: info@connectcp.org.
