COMPARING CULTURE DATA
We are pleased to announce that the Australia Council for the Arts has released the working paper 'Making Cross-Country Comparisons of Cultural Statistics: Problems and Solutions'. The working paper was written by IFACCA's Research Analyst, Christopher Madden, as part of a project to undertake international statistical comparisons of Australia's cultural sector. The paper looks at methodological issues in making cross-country comparisons, documenting some of the main problems in data production and data presentation and providing a checklist of good practice. The paper aims to provide guidance and ideas for anyone making cross-country comparisons of cultural statistics. We welcome your feedback on the paper at info@ifacca.org.
