IFACCA releases report on international comparisons of arts participation
The results of IFACCA's second D'ART question, about making international comparisons of arts participation data, were released today in a report compiled by the IFACCA secretariat. The report provides background to the major issues surrounding international comparisons, contains links to producers of cultural statistics around the world, and highlights existing comparisons of arts participation data. Request for help with performing arts venue policies
IFACCA's latest D'ART question #5 from the arts councils of Ireland and Northern Ireland asks whether any countries have policies or guidelines on the provision of performing arts venues, spaces and facilities, or research on their viability. more >

Linking the world of arts funding
From Argentina to Zimbabwe, IFACCA's website now contains detailed profiles of 33 arts councils and ministries and contact details for a further 33. The site also links to 14 international organisations that support arts and culture, 15 international arts networks, 11 networks of private arts funders and 24 resource sites - see www.ifacca.org/en/links/.
