Draft constitution released for comment
All national arts councils and ministries are being asked for feedback on IFACCA's draft constitution. Copies were mailed this week and are also available on the website. Comments are due by 12 April. The final constitution will be presented for ratification at the inaugural General Assembly, which will coincide with the next World Summit on the Arts and Culture. more >
First D'ART released
The results of IFACCA's first D'ART question, about how to define a 'professional' artist, was released today. The ten-page report, prepared by IFACCA's research officer, Christopher Madden, is an introductory analysis of six responses from IFACCA's network, and some additional research. Touching on information from more than ten countries, the report outlines some broad definitions and provides five common approaches. more >
